Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Thursday said he would keep away members of his family and relatives while discharging his duties.
He had realised the problems being created when relatives were around, and hence had decided to keep them away to build a strong State, Mr. Yeddyurappa said.
He was speaking after inaugurating BGS Utsav and the founders' day of Adi Chunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math at Hulimavu Ramalingeshwara Gruhasthashrama here.
Following the words of Kuvempu who had called upon people to shun affinity towards close ones, he would come out of all the bonding and discharge his duties effectively in the next two and a half years, the Chief Minster added.
