The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the results of the mock allotment of seats on Saturday evening. Along with the results, the cut-off ranks for all the courses — medical, dental, pharmacy, engineering, and farm science — have been displayed on the KEA website along with the roster system of the allotment.
These are indicative results and candidates can change, add, delete or reorder options — course-wise and college-wise — until 9 a.m. on June 23 after which the real allotment of seats will be made and their choices will be frozen.
A KEA release warned students that their results will change during the real allotment irrespective of whether they have made changes after the mock allotment or not, as the seat allotment will be affected by changes made by other candidates. Further, if students have not been allotted any seat in the mock allotment round, they have been asked to verify the options entered by them and enter more options.
Engineering seat aspirants have also been asked to select seats in the PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) and PES University, which were added late to the seat matrix. Fresh options can be entered in the window between the mock and real allotments for the 510 PESIT seats and 432 PES University seats. The real allotment will be made on June 23.
As for the second round of counselling, students have been advised to enter all options they are interested in during the ongoing first round as the same priority of options will be considered for the second round. No fresh options can be entered in the ensuing rounds.
