The Marathahalli police are on the lookout for a cash custodian of a city-based cash management company for allegedly duping the firm of ₹52 lakh.

The accused, Paramesh K.K., had attended work on March 12 and was asked to get the cash from an ATM situated near Tulasi theatre in Marathahalli. Paramesh has been missing from work since then.

Lokesh C., branch manager, CMS Info System, tried to reach him but his phone was switched off. Suspecting something fishy, he sent other staff to collect the cash from the ATM and found that ₹52,01,500 was missing.

Based on the complaint, the police have taken up a case against Paramesh under Sections 408 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 ( cheating ) of the IPC.
