Case booked against Bangalore Club

A case was booked against Bangalore Club on Friday for alleged violation of the Excise Act after a raid by the Excise Department. Deputy Commissioner of Excise Department Shailaja said the club had multiple counters in the bar which was a violation for which it has been booked. However, no liquor was seized.

Excise officials raided the club premises after senior IPS officer R.P. Sharma alleged that the club was violating the excise rules.
