Carry spittoon, bottles and dustbins from now: Vatal

July 29, 2013 12:58 am | Updated 12:58 am IST - BANGALORE:

Ridiculing the State government’s proposal to penalise people found urinating, dumping garbage and spitting in public, Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj has said that people of the State should now start carrying spittoons, bottles to urinate and dustbins along with them when they venture out.

Lambasting the government for the move, he said that it was inhuman to pass such a law without providing people with an alternative. “Thousands of ordinary people from across the State come to the Vidhana Souda daily to air their grievances. Does the Vidhana Soudha have toilets for them?” he asked presspersons here on Sunday.
