BWSSB turns off illegal taps

Continuing its disconnection drive, officials of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) on Wednesday disconnected 73 illegal water and sanitary connections and issued notices to 92 houses and collected a fine of Rs. 13.97 lakh.

A press release said that on the third day, the squad conducted inspections in J.J. Nagar, Salappa extension, Poorna Pragna area, Sampangiramnagar, Cubbonpet area, Murphy Town, Jogupalya and Ulsoor area, Bagalgunte, MEI Layout, Malleswaram, Vyalikaval, Palace Guttahalli, and Ranganathapura.
