With onset of summer and increase in demand for water in the city, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has deputed special officers to 26 sub-divisions to hear the grievances of public relating to water supply.

Public may lodge their complaints related to piped water supply/tanker supply between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. with the officers/special officers concerned.

The BWSSB, in a release, appealed to the public not to take the law into their hand in case of any discrepancy in water supply and complain them to the officers concerned.

The BWSSB said borewells sunk in Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike and Bangalore Development Authority areas, are the property of the board and using water from the these borewells for commercial purpose is an offence.
