Businessman, mother arrested for duping people

The Nelamangala police, on Friday, arrested Vijay Kumar, a Bangalore-based businessman and his mother Rajarajeshwari for duping many people of several lakhs promising sites.

The accused, Vijay Kumar, claimed to be a film producer from Andhra Pradesh involved in multiple business ventures and lured people with the promise of providing them sites at cheaper rates.

People investing money into the venture found out that Vijay Kumar was using all the money to build his palatial house.

Based on the complaint, the Nelamangala police have arrested the mother-son duo for cheating and remanded them to judicial custody.
