Bus Day today

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will observe Bus Day on Monday.

The Bus Day, which is observed every month to encourage people to use public transport, will see existing schedules extended beyond their normal timings on 11 corridors, thereby adding 3,000 extra trips.

A press statement from BMTC said the corridors where the Bus Day will be observed on Monday include Old Airport Road (ITPL), Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road, Bannerghatta Road, Kanakapura Road, Mysore Road, Magadi Road, Tumkur Road, Bellary Road, Thanisandra Road, Hennur Road and Old Madras Road.
