The musical chair for Bangalore University’s top posts continues as In-charge Registrar (Administration) T.D. Kemparaju has tendered his resignation. R.K. Somashekhar, Registrar (Evaluation), has been given additional charge of Prof. Kemparaju’s post.
According to the order copy dated January 28, Prof. Kemparaju, who took over from B.C. Mylarappa last November, “sought relief from the additional duties of Registrar.” The reason was not mentioned and Mr. Kemparaju was unavailable for comments.
In another development, Rajendra Kumar from the Department of Social Work has been appointed the Officer on Special Duty to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
