A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was killed in a suspected hit-and-run case at Susaipet in Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) on Tuesday night.
Sukumar (43) was serving in the BSF and deputed in Gujarat. He had come on a leave to his native place on June 26 and was staying at Champion Reef locality.
According to Sukumar’s brother Ravichandar, Sukumar had gone to a temple. An unidentified vehicle allegedly knocked Sukumar down, killing him on the spot.
A complaint has been filed with the Andersonpet police and investigation is on.
