Braille textbooks for Bangalore varsity students

Visually impaired students of Bangalore University have been invited to receive Braille textbooks and audio cassettes for undergraduate courses.

The Vice-Chancellor will hand over the study material at a function on September 24 at 11.30 a.m. at the Seminar Hall, Jnana Jyothi Convention Centre, Central College campus, here. Visually impaired students of the university have been requested to register by furnishing details such as name, college, class, register number, subjects taken, contact address and phone numbers with Prasanna Udipikar, convener, Department of English, VVN Degree College (email: prasannaudipikar@gmail.com) or Anthony Devaraj, coordinator, OSD (Exams), Central College, Bangalore University (email: anthonydeva raj@gmail.com)

College principals have been requested to inform and accompany such students of their institution for the function.
