BMTF takes BBMP staff to sites

August 20, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 08:05 am IST - BENGALURU:

The BMTF took nine BBMP officials to the sites on which they had allegedly allowed construction of properties that were later found to be encroaching on SWD.

“We questioned them exactly as to the specifics of how and why they gave the permissions,” said T. Sunil Kumar, ADGP, BMTF. The sequence of events followed when permits are given for buildings and construction was examined.

However, investigators have not been able to locate 12 retired and serving BBMP officers who are on the run after they were named in FIRs.
