BMTC special busesfor IPL matches

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has arranged special bus services for cricket fans who will be arriving at the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium to watch the IPL cricket matches which will be held on March 16, 18, 23 and 25 and on April 8, 10, 17, 21 and 22.

The special services are made available by extending the Big 10 services to the stadium. The services will be available before three hours from the start of the match. After the match, the services will be available at a frequency of five minutes.

The buses will be parked on either side of Cubbon Road, said a press release.

The BMTC has urged cricket fans not to bring their personal vehicles and clog the roads.

All the routes will operate with series G-1 to G-12.

G-1 — from Kadugodi Bus Station via Hope Farm, Siddapura, Marathahalli and Domlur.

G-2 — from Electronic City Wipro Gate via Konappana Agrahara, Bommanahalli and Adugodi.

G-3 — from Sarjapur via Dommasandra Agara and Koramangala 8th Block.

G-4 — from Bannerghatta National Park via Basavanapura, Bilekahalli and Dairy Circle.

G-5 — from Kaggalipura via Thalghatpura, Konanakunte Cross and Banashankari.

G-6— from KengeriSatellite Town via Kengeri, Nayandahalli and K.R. Market.

G-7 — from Janapriya Township via Gollarahatti, Sunkadakatte, Magadi Road and Kembani.

G-8 — from Nelamangala via Makali, Yashwantpur, Mehkri Circle andJ.C. Nagar.

G-9 — from YelahankaSatellite Town via Hebbal, Mehkri Circle andJ.C. Nagar.

G-10 — from Ramakrishna Hegde Nagar via Thanisandra, Nagawara and Coles Park.

G-11 — from Bagalur via Kothnur, Geddalahalli and Lingarajapuram .

G-12— from K.R. Puram via Benniganahalli and Ulsoor.
