BJP Yuva Morcha on Tuesday filed a complaint with the Malleswaram police seeking criminal action against historian and writer Dr. Ramachandra Guha for making ‘baseless allegations against the RSS’ in connection with the murders of journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh and other rationalists.
Sankeeth Thady, secretary, BJP Yuva Morcha, said that though the investigations into these cases are yet to be completed, Mr. Guha accused the RSS without any proof in an interview.
“This accusation not only amounts to illegal interference in the course of justice but is also highly defamatory with ulterior motive,” Mr. Thady said in his statement.
The Malleswaram police have taken up the case and referred the complaint for legal opinion.
