Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party staged a protest against hike in property taxes during the BBMP council special meeting today. They also held placards outside the BBMP office denouncing the hike in rates and classification of zones, and criticised the ruling Congress party. The council meeting was adjourned by one hour.
