BIA-bound motorists advised to take alternative route

In view of the possibility of large number of people visiting the on-going Aero India 2013 at Yelahanka Air Station during the week-end, the traffic police has advised people going to the Bangalore International Airport (BIA) to board flights to use alternative roads.

“To avoid traffic congestion people going to Bangalore International Airport should take Outer Ring Road – Hennur Cross – Hennur Road – Kothanur – Bagalur – Bagalur Cross and on to Bellary road to reach Bangalore International Airport”, a statement from the traffic police said.

It may be mentioned here that traffic snarls were witnessed on Bellary Road, especially during peak hours, since the Air show began on February 6.
