Days after receiving a “threat letter”, the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike’s joint commissioner for health Sarfaraz Khan filed a complaint with the Halasoor police on Monday.

The letter claims to be from the BJP office on Bazaar Street in Ulsoor. The letter reads: “You have issued notices to all commercial offices on Aga Abbas Ali Road and the surrounding areas. Let them do their work peacefully, do not harass them. Don’t show your strength or you will be finished (death). We get complaint(s) from the public or go to Pakistan.”

The Halasoor police are investigating the case. Meanwhile, BJP MLA S. Suresh Kumar, in a tweet, condemned the letter and maintained that there was no relationship between the BJP and the letter.
