A 25-year-old bar help was stabbed to death and another seriously injured when a group of three men attacked them with a knife when they were refused liquor.

A group of men came into the bar on Brigade Road when Prakash, a native of K.R. Pet, was closing for the day, and got into an argument with him when he refused to serve them citing closing time. Things took an ugly turn when they tried to beat him up. Other colleagues intervened and stopped the group.

Enraged by this, the gang followed Prakash and intercepted him at a corner of Brigade Road. They stabbed him to death and attacked Narendra, before fleeing.

A few passers-by rushed the duo to Bowring hospital. While Prakash was brought dead, the condition of Narendra is reportedly critical.

The police have arrested Vineeth Chowdhari (24) and Naresh Chowdhari (25), both natives of Agra and hotel employees.
