Bangladesh national arrested on charge of human trafficking

The central Crime Branch sleuths have caught a Bangladesh national from a rented house on charge of human trafficking.

The accused Bablu Munna allegedly brought girls from poor families in Bangladesh promising them jobs in garment factories, and forced them into sex work. Based on a tip-off, a team of police raided a rented house in Subramanyapura police and arrested Munna and rescued a girl.

The girl was sent to a home for women, while Munna has been taken into custody.
