A collage of batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been attracting the attention of visitors at the Pineroots Art Gallery here. Created by Manu Kallikkad, the collage gives a glimpse of the batting wizard’s life and has been created using photographs published in the media as well as from the artiste’s own collection. A huge Tendulkar portrait, in particular, created by Mr. Kallikkad three years ago, was the centre of attraction in the gallery.

In addition, the gallery is also hosting a three - day exhibition on Sachin, with portraits drawn using collage art, pencil sketches, oil painting and paper quelling designs. “We are paying our tribute to Sachin in this way as we are awestruck by Sachin’s elegance in cricket. It’s just a minor effort on our part ,” said gallery owner Jobin K. Andrews. The works would be open to public between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the gallery, Shravanthi Complex in Jayanagar.
