Bangalore University administration gets a rap

August 10, 2012 09:57 am | Updated 09:57 am IST - BANGALORE:

The State government has rapped the administration of Bangalore University (BU) over the “collapse” in its administration.

Higher Education Principal Secretary Siddaiah’s letter to Vice-Chancellor N. Prabhu Dev has stinging criticism of the lack of progress in the university’s infrastructure work due to infighting, especially between the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar (Administration) B.C. Mylarappa.

The letter refers to the recent visit of the Higher Education Minister C.T. Ravi and Urban Development Minister S. Suresh Kumar to the Jnana Bharathi campus and their subsequent observations, which are mostly negative.
