Bangalore college teacher loses control of car, knocks down 3 students

Three students of Mount Carmel college were injured when a car driven by their lecturer knocked them down at the entrance of the college on Wednesday.

The injured students — Shreya, Raagi and Anusuya — were taken to Mahaveer Jain Hospital. Ms. Raagi’s suffered a fracture in her leg as the car ran over her.

The incident occurred at around 8.30 a.m. when the students were entering college.

A Santro car driven by the lecturer, Sharmin, lost control while entering the gate and rammed into the compound wall and ended up injuring the three students.

The high grounds traffic police rushed to the spot and are investigating.
