Awareness on RTI Act

A two-day special training programme on capacity-building and awareness generation for the effective implementation of the Right to Information Act will be held at the Bangalore Rural Zilla Panchayat auditorium on August 10 and 11.

Sairam Bhat of the National Law School of India University will deliver a lecture on the Obligations of the Public Authority, Disclosure under Section 4 (1) (B), Exemptions from disclosure, partial disclosure and third-party information.

On the second day, consumer activist Y.G. Muralidharan will deliver lectures.
