Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa is slated to appear before a Special Court in connection with the disproportionate assets case at Parappana Agrahara on the city's outskirts on Tuesday.

As part of the security measures, the South East Division police have imposed prohibitory orders between 6 a.m. on Tuesday and midnight of Wednesday, under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the limits of Parappana Agrahara, HSR Layout, Electronic City and Madivala police station limits.

Ms. Jayalalithaa has Z plus category security and National Security Guard (NSG) cover.
