Armed men on bikes attack residents in K.P. Agrahara; one injured

Panic gripped K.P. Agrahara when a group of armed men on bikes attacked residents while looking for a rival gang member who was recently released from the jail. One of the victim identified as Varun escaped with minor injuries and has been admitted in a hospital.

According to the police, Jayanth, a rowdy, along with him gang members was on the lookout for Sanjay, who was involved in a murder of Mahesh, 35-year-old rowdy and realtor, in Vijayanagar last June.

Mahesh was hacked to death by a group of people at a coffee shop in Vinajanagar. The police had arrested Sanjay in connection with the case, but he was released on bail 20 days ago.

Mahesh’s associates led by Jayanth came in search of Sanjay on bikes armed with lethal weapons and started attacking people randomly when they could not find Sanjay.

The KP Agarahara police have taken up a case and are investigating.
