Applications have been invited from children, who have shown achievements in the fields of arts, culture, sports, social service, and music, among others, for the National Child Award for exceptional achievement.
According to a release, children born on or after August 1, 1998 and are in the age group of 5 to 18 will be considered for the award.
Those interested may obtain applications from the office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, in their respective districts. Filled-in applications in English should reach the district Deputy Director by July 20, the release stated.
