Kannadada Kattaalu DeJaGow a 30-minute documentary made by award-winning director Kesari Harvoo for the Department of Information, provides an insight into the life, works, and contributions of De. Ja. Gow. to the cause of Kannada. Besides capturing landmark locations in Mysuru, where De. Ja. Gow. served in his long career as an educationist and writer, Mr. Harvoo had also documented the ambience of Chakkere in Channapatna taluk, where he grew up, and the Central College. Though he had shot footage of eight to 10 hours, Mr. Harvoo had to edit it to 30 minutes. “I could not include many things he shared, as it was a government-sponsored documentary,” he said.
