Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) handed over allotment letters of alternate sites to 258 Arkavathy Layout site allottees who lost their sites, as the land parcels on which their sites were developed were left out recently during the re-modified scheme. The letters were handed over at the two-day Lok Adalat of the BDA at its head office on Tuesday.
Those who had lost their sites during the re-modified scheme had earlier cried foul that though BDA had handed over possession of their allotted sites and registered them in their names, the authority had not even served them a notice before leaving out the land from the layout scheme.
A senior BDA official said that 463 disputes were settled at the Lok Adalat.
BDA has announced that all the 946 people, who were allotted one-bedroom flats through lottery last week, would be given their allotment letters at the Lok Adalat on Wednesday.
