Bangalore University Registrar (Administration) B.C. Mylarappa said that only 40 of the 657 affiliated colleges have successfully uploaded information (known as Data Capture Format II) for the ongoing All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). With this, the university has registered a 6 per cent progress rate as on October 15.

A meeting attended by principals of all affiliated colleges was held on Wednesday where they were directed to upload the data as early as possible as the deadline is October 30.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will release the findings, aimed at determining gross enrolment and drop out rate among others, on November 11. All 43 universities in the State have registered for the survey.
