Accidents related to potholes or bad roads

May 22, 2016: Santosh lost control of bike while negotiating a bad road near RR Nagar arch. His sister P. Savitha (16) came under the wheels of a bus

April 2015: Shama Anjum (13) and her one-year-old sister Ayam came under the wheels of a bus after their mother Ameena (25) lost control while trying to manoeuvre past a pothole on OTC road near Halasooru police station

September 2015: Stuti Pandey Tripathi (25) slipped from the bike when her husband, Om Prakash Tripathi, was negotiating a pothole near ORR flyover in Marathahalli

August 2015: Nine-year-old Likith Gowda and his mother, Sunitha came under the wheels of a bus while trying to avoid a pothole near SRS Circle on Tumakuru Road

December 2014: Two-and-a-half-year-old Dhanushree was crushed to death by a truck on Hoodi Main Road when her uncle lost control of the two-wheeler at a pothole

July 2013: Lakshmidevi, a pedestrian, was crushed to death when a TN-bound bus ran over her on SJP Road near Hudson Circle. She was crossing the road when the bus hit her when the driver tried to avoid a pothole

March 2012: 51-year old Jayan fell from his bike at a pothole at Pantharapalya on Mysuru Road and was run over by a truck
