ACB recovers disproportionate assets from six officials

Searches were carried out across Karnataka

The Anti Corruption Bureau searched the premises of six government officials across the State on Saturday and claims to have seized disproportionate assets worth several crores of rupees.

These include a house, six acres of agricultural land in Shirahatti, 300 gm of gold and 432 gm of silver jewellery from Mallikarjuna S. Savanur, Assistant Executive Engineer of KPTCL in Hubballi.

They seized a house, 1.2 acres of agricultural land in Dharwad, 1.5 acres of agricultural land in Hubballi, 377 gm of gold and 2.2 kg of silver articles, cash and bank deposits from Prashanth Varura, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Dharwad.

Three houses, four sites in Kundapura, 1.13 kg of gold, 1.7 kg of silver articles and Rs. 18.7 lakh were seized from Ravi Shankar, junior engineer, Kundapura.

They seized documents related to two commercial complexes and four sites at Vajarahalli, cash, gold and LIC policies from Shivakumar G.M., Revenue Officer, Talaghattapura.
