Demanding strict action against the people involved in the alleged Lokayukta corruption case, members of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Ravi Krishna Reddy, filed a complaint with the High Grounds police against Lokayukta Y. Bhaskar Rao’s son Ashwin Rao and another suspect, Krishna Rao on Monday.

In his complaint, Mr. Reddy accused the two of indulging in corruption and using the office of Lokayukta and the official residence as the forum for corrupt practices.

The Ashwin Rao and Krishna Rao also misused the names and reputation of Lokayukta police officials to extort money and should be arrested. The case against them should be investigated in detail, he said in his complaint.

AAP members staged protest outside the police station when the police delayed in filing FIR. “We will protest till the FIR is filed,” Reddy told The Hindu .
