Hand embroidery has upped its fashion quotient of late. That little handmade touch with a needle and a colour thread on a garment goes a long way to enhance its aesthetic appeal.

Banna Creation has announced the 4th edition of embroidery workshop this August, a press release said.

The weekend classes will have four sessions, and the workshop will focus on hand embroidery. Participants will be taught 15 types of embroidery stitches and their variations, and the focus will be on kasuti, the traditional embroidery of north Karnataka.

The workshop, part of the first anniversary of Banna Creations, will be held at the PageTurners bookstore, 3rd Floor, Kannan Building, M.G. Road. Call 9945611081 or mail bannacreations@gmail.com .
