Bengaluru: The K.G. Halli police are searching for the man who allegedly attacked a woman at K.G. Halli on Friday morning. They are examining CCTV footage in the neighbourhood to identify the culprit.

CCTV footage from a shop showed the man stalking the woman, but there is no footage of the alleged attack. Clips also show the man walking away. “Going by the physical description, he appears to be a local. We are questioning shop-keepers,” said the police.

Ajai Hilori, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said, "We have taken up a case under Section 354 (outraging modesty) and Section 341 (punishment for wrongful restriant) against the accused.”

The woman lives in Banasawadi but had spent the night with her relatives in the area where the alleged attack took place.
