The Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI) is planning to make its presence felt in the digital world and the first of its attempt is the web series ‘V3’.

“The testing of the three episodes is going on and will be released soon,” Shravan Kumar, CEO of CFSI, said during an interaction organised at the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) here on Saturday.

CFSI has also taken up a project for the World Bank to sensitise children on gender and sanitation issues. A workshop of selected children will be conducted in few districts and children themselves will produce films on two themes. “The Indian Institute of management will be the academic partner in the project,” explained Mr. Shravan Kumar.

There is also a plan to release over 200 best classic films of the CFSI following the success of Gattu in more than 100 screens across Karnataka. “CFSI has earned good revenue from this commercial release and decided to explore main commercial circuit,” he said. There is a plan to hold International Children Film Festival in 33 districts of Gujarat and the Chief Minister will inaugurate the festival, he added.
