15 Bills passed; Houses adjourned sine die

The Assembly, which met for 13 days during the budget session, passed a total of 15 Bills. The session, which started with the presentation of the State Budget by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on March 13, was adjourned sine die on Wednesday.

The House met for a total of 60.09 hours and held discussions on various issues, including the death of IAS officer D.K. Ravi and the drinking water crisis in drought-prone districts. The government gave answers to 180 starred and 2,668 un-starred questions.

The Legislative Council also adjourned sine die on Wednesday.
