Counting of votes polled during the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency elections held on April 6 and 11 in the district will be held on Tuesday.
Counting of votes will take place at the SIMS College of Law, Pothinamallayyapalem; CMT Law College, PM Palem; AMAL College, Anakapalle; Government Degree College, Paderu; Don Bosco School, Pedaboddepalli near Narsipatnam and Government Degree College, Narsipatnam.
Also, repolling will be held for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections at Palakajeedi in Paderu Assembly segment.
Prohibitory orders
The Commissioner of Police has imposed prohibitory orders under Sec. 144 of CrPC under Bheemunipatnam, Padmanabham, Anandapuram, Pendurthi, Parawada and PM Palem police station limits for 24 hours from 6 a.m. on Tuesday in view of counting of votes.
