Youth festival of music from June 23

A three-day youth festival of music is being organised by the Visakha Music Academy at Kala Bharathi here from June 23 to 25. Beginning at 6.15 p.m. on June 23, the opening concert will be a vocal programme presented by Modumudi Srutiranjani, daughter of renowned vocalist Modumudi Sudhakar from Vijayawada.

The second half of the concert will be a violin solo concert presented by Mantha Sriramya, who is currently honing her skills from Avasarla Kanyakumar in Chennai.

On June 24, Srinivasa Sarma Rani from Hyderabad will present a vocal concert. This will be followed by a guitar concert presented by Sheik Nagul Meera Vali from Vijayawada.

The concluding day of June 25 will feature a vocal concert by Vankayala Sruthi Sarani, daughter of Mridanga Vidwan Vankayala V. Ramana Murthy. This would be followed by a mandolin concert by Sadhgun Aithal from Mangalore. Sadyojatam Trust is sponsoring the three-day event.
