The Youth Congress organised a dharna near the Gandhi statue opposite GVMC main building here on Monday demanding Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu fulfil his election promise of providing a job to every family or unemployment allowance till a youth gets a job.

This was part of State-wide protest by the A.P. Youth Congress held during the day in all district headquarters at the direction of APCC President N. Raghuveera Reddy.

Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao said that not only employment, Mr. Naidu had failed to fulfil any of the promises he made in the TDP election manifesto. “If he is sincere, Mr. Naidu should immediately implement all the promises,” said Mr. Srinivasa Rao.

Youth Congress leader Y. Raja Rao demanded the CM of providing employment to the youth or facing an intensified agitation. City Congress Committee president Behara Bhaskara Rao and others spoke.
