Workshop on natural farming

Keeping their focus on promoting natural farming methods recommended by agriculturist Subhash Palekar from Maharashtra, an army of farmers is conducting a two-day workshop next month. Farmers from Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and East Godavari districts are expected to participate in the seminar.

Mr. Subhash Palekar along with a number of farmers from various regions will deliver a series of lectures covering diverse topics.

The workshop will be held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Assembly Hall, Andhra University, on May 4 and 5 from 10 a.m., according to M. Pavan Kumar, environmentalist from East Godavari.
