Work apace on Harita housing project

Construction work on VUDA’s Harita Housing Project at Madhurawada is nearing completion. Presently, works relating to water and electricity supply, flooring, plastering and painting works are being executed. Work on construction of the entrance arch, compound wall with solar fencing and works for layout water supply, underground drainage, sewage treatment plant, have been started and some of them are nearing completion.

Construction of structure for the three-floor community centre, shopping complex and health centre with two floors each is going on. Base formation of internal roads within the project has already been completed. Development of parks, open space and landscaping works will be started immediately after completion of civil works.

With the regular monitoring by Vice-Chairman in charge M.V. Satyanarayana work in various fronts is apace.

The housing project was taken up in 20 acres of area with 710 apartment units in 11 blocks. Out of the 710 units in Haritha, 672 were already allotted.

Since the works are yet to be completed, the Vice-Chairman incharge has agreed to postpone the last date for payment of the last and sixth instalment by the allottees.

VUDA staff, under the control of two executive engineers, is overseeing the works and VUDA Chief Engineer I. Viswanatha Rao is visiting the site regularly to ensure quality.
