The Fourth circle-level conference of women officers of State Bank of India Officers Association, Hyderabad Circle (SBIOA-HC) saw scores of smart-looking bank employees from across the State gather here on Sunday.
At one of the city hotels they celebrated International Women’s Day. The SBIOA-HC has been hosting the conference for the last four years with an intention to promote gender inclusive leadership.
A host of guest lectures marked the day, while Additional Commissioner of Income Tax D. Komali Krishna spoke on women empowerment at length. Association president B. Sukkaiah highlighted how women continue to be efficient in both personal and professional fronts, balancing work-life.
It was an opportunity created for the women employees to share their employable skills and challenges to bring about meaningful change in terms of women empowerment through career development, she said.
The added attraction at the venue was the painting exhibition put up by SBI One Town Branch Deputy Manager Nomita Karmakar.
The others who participated in the conference include SBI, Hyderabad general manager Network-III Vijay Jasuja, SBI mid-corporate group general manager Subodh Balkrishna Sawant and DGM and circle development officer R. Radhakrishna, and deputy general manager (B&O) K.N. Nayak.
