The body of a 45-year old woman was found near railway track in Yelamanchili in the district on Wednesday. The woman was allegedly murdered and was identified as Karanam Parvathi (45), native of Ch Agraharam.

According to the police, she was reportedly killed by her paramour P. Abbai alias Bobby (24), native of Kathipudi of East Godavari district and resident of Purushottapuram of Yelamanchili mandal in Visakhapatnam district. The accused works as an employee in a bulk drug factory at Nakkapalle.

Though the woman was reportedly killed on June 25th night, the incident came to light after the family members of the woman lodged a complaint with the rural police of Anakapalle on Tuesday night.

According to the police, two persons were allegedly involved in the case and the police have arrested Bobby but his cousin Apparao alias Chinni, is still at large.

According to Anakapalle Inspector (Rural) Ramachandra Rao, 45-year old Parvati was allegedly having an illicit relationship with the 24-year-old Bobby for quite some time. Parvathi was a widow and had a 23-year-old son and even family members of Parvati knew about the matter and objected the relationship.

The Police Inspector claimed that the accused confessed that he had three reasons to kill Parvathi.

According to the police the family members of Parvathi had named Bobby as the prime suspect.
