Walk to create awareness on R&D

A walk for clinical trials was conducted on the Beach Road to create awareness on the need for research and development to make headway in medical science on Sunday.

The morning walk was organised on the eve of the International Clinical Trials Day on May 20 under the joint aegis of Excel Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd, a site management office that conducts clinical research projects in the country, and LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI).

Director of School of Law, GITAM University, Y. Satyanarayana, flagged off the walk. Several doctors, including Merle Fernandes, Director of LVPEI, Visakhapatnam unit, were present.
