VUDA to organise magic show on Children's Day

VUDA will organise a grand magic show on Sunday evening as a special entertainment programme to mark Children's Day at Gurajada Kalakshetram.

Magician Ravishankar will enthral children with a variety of magic tricks for more than one hour. Classical dance by students of Sri Abhinaya Nrithya Niketan, Srikakulam, and Dhimsa tribal dance by students of Bethany Public School will also be presented on the occasion.

Prior to the magic show, fancy dress competition will be held from 4 p.m. at VUDA Children's Theatre in the sub-junior, junior and senior groups. Children can take part in the event directly.

Drawing competition of the VUDA Children Club will be conducted from 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Children's Theatre. Topic for the junior group (from Class IV to VI) is ‘My Planet Earth' and for seniors (Class VII to X) ‘Consequences of nature's imbalances'. Sub-juniors (up to Class III) can draw any picture of their choice.

Ballets by children of Nirmala Music and Dance Academy and Nrityam Dance Institutes of Visakhapatnam and another group from Srikakulam will be staged on Saturday evening at Gurajada Kalakshetram.
