With the government announcing extension of the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS), VUDA will accept fresh applications up to May 31 for regularisation of plots in unapproved and unauthorised layouts in VUDA jurisdiction.
The LRS applications will be made available from Wednesday onwards at the VUDA branch of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) at Siripuram.
Owners of plots in unapproved layouts in urban and rural areas of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, and East Godavari districts in VUDA limits may apply for regularisation under the LRS. The regularisation is also applicable to those having approval of only gram panchayats.
