VUDA is all set to conduct the auction for 101 VUDA Row Housing units on Saturday at the Vaisakhi Jala Udyanavanam here, Vice Chairman VUDA N. Yuvaraj said.

Auction for plots would be conducted on October 11, the Vice-Chairman said here on Thursday. The process would begin at 9:30 a.m. on both the days. The applicants are requested to attend the auction with Auction Slips downloaded along with applications, he said.

Nine applicants have submitted applications for 32 Row Housing units. Out of 140 plots notified, applications were received for 101 plots, Yuvaraj said. On average there were nine contenders for each plot and for a few plots there was not even a single application, he added. In spite of the CRZ condition for plots in Adibhatla Nagar layout and MVP Layout, multiple applications were received.

Priority to ‘Vaastu’

However, priority to ‘vaastu’ has been taken into consideration with all applications, and VUDA will consider the fact to apply the ‘vaastu’ guidelines in all its future housing projects and layouts, Dr. Yuvaraj said.

Bank counters will be provided at the auction venue to facilitate the applicants to avail additional EMD demand drafts and also to do the spot payment as per the conditions soon after bid was confirmed, he said. Two persons would be allowed on each application to participate in the auction, and auction will be conducted plot wise and unit wise.
