The jogging track at the foothill of Kailasagiri, being developed by VUDA, is likely to open next month.

With its lush green surroundings and rich eco system, the track will become another landmark in Vizag. Development of the 2.3-km jogging track has been taken up from the Ropeway Junction to Visalakshinagar area along MVP Colony and Hanumanthawaka junction.

VUDA Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar has directed the engineering officials to finish works on the track to open the first stretch of 1.9 km from ropeway junction to the Hanumanthawaka junction. Street-lighting, landscaping, toilets, drinking water facility and other requirements will be provided along the track. The track has two separate zones for jogging and cycling.
