Young archers from Visakhapatnam district have contributed to the State team winning bronze medals in the sixth Lenin Volga mini National under-14 archery championships which concluded at Vijayawada on Sunday. S. Lakshman, S. Ramesh and G. Mahesh were members of the four-member AP boys team that beat Jharkhand to secure bronze for the State. S. Geethika was part of the girls team that won bronze medal for AP.
Vice-chairman of the Olympic Association of Visakhapatnam T.S.R. Prasad and others felicitated the winners and their coach G. Lakshman.
